    Thanks a lot everyone !

@Abu Lafia : I agree with you, but that's a lot of lines to draw... Maybe I should use a more fuzzy brush, I will test that.
@Thomrey : well, my handwriting is not so good... Doing a font with my own letters is a good idea. I'm gonna test it (with crossed fingers)...
@Diamond : well, I hope to not disappoint you. Some fanboys could be dangerous when angered... *pulling new armored kneepads*
@Mouse : thanks, but not I'm not that visionary... There a lot of things that inspires me, to be honest.
@Tonnichiwa & Snodsy : it's before all a rpg setting, so, glad to read that! I may do a map of the city one day.
@Daniel Hasenbos : I appreciate the comparison since it's supposed to be precisely some Near Eastern trading city. And I did use some pictures of croatian cities and Istanbul.

For my entry in the last lite challenge, I did the letters by hand (et j'écris comme un poney dyspraxique qui porterait des moufles en côte de maille ça prend du temps mais on s'en sort). I believe in you !

This is really impressive work, I like the idea behind the drawing. I would suggest the same as Abu Lafia and thomrey, hand writting could be a nice way to give a "sketchy" feeling.

    Thanks !

I will definitely try a homemade script font and a more sketchy feeling for the following projects.

I'm very late with this, but just wanted to say this is a fantastic drawing, and looks quite realistic. I don't suppose you plan to colour it? Great work all round.

Beautifull work! Did you start with sketchup and add details or is it fully hand drawn?

Nope, I won't colour it. I guess I'm gonna keep most of the drawings/sketches B&W except for complete maps and when color is very significant.

No sketchup here. I used some pictures of different cities as a basis, though.

Love it - I have no nitpicks at all, which for me is unusual

Envious of your drawing ability, this has inspired me to practice a similar perspective drawing for some of my cities.
