What's the problem with them? Are they out of date?

I was going to say 'It's all swings and roundabouts as to which particular tool is best for what' and then I realised its more about curves and straights
I used to be exclusively a CC3 mapper, but over time I've added gradually more and more tools to my tool box, and now I use whichever tool fits the job best. I frequently switch between CC3, GIMP, CorelDraw, and several other graphics apps depending on what stage I'm at.
I hope you managed to find a solution, but maybe if you haven't it would be possible to do the curves in Dundjinni?
When I had "XP" Dundjinni was my exclusive Battle Mapper because It was so Simple to use..I had to upgrade to Windows 8, but it did not work with Windows 8...without a Work around which I could never get to work.
I really hate these 'Cloud' /"online Subscription mappers" everyone is doing much prefer a stand alone

I might just have dreamed it, but I think I read a comment someplace around here where someone was claiming that Dundjinni was being put back together, whatever that means. Maybe it will come back to life again someday?
I wouldn't want to start any rumours, though. Maybe Bogie knows?
Daniel Pryor, who, among other things, is the current keeper of the Dundjinni Archives and the Dundjinni version of the CSUAC, had been trying to negotiate with Mindy, the owner of Dundjinni, to revive the program and to bring out a new version 2.0. JP knows all about this already, because he's participated in the online discussions on the topic. However, the last public word on this was from Daniel on August 17.
Most of the Dundjinni users whom I know are assuming that there will be no Dundjinni 2.0 and are looking forward to Heruca's MapForge program, which is seen as something of an unofficial successor to Dundjinni 1.07. Heruca, for those unfamiliar with the screen name, was one of the leading unofficial creators on the Dundjinni forums. For more information on MapForge:

For what it's worth, it is possible to use the old Dundjinni 1.07 under modern Windows systems. It runs with few problems on my main computer with Windows 10 Professional. Instructions on how to get it going under Windows 7, 8 and 10 can be found in the Dundjinni forums. Some technical knowledge is necessary to make it work
