Thanks Mouse, I knew there was a reason I liked the first better, but couldn't see it.

I darkened the cover a little, and added the emblem. I think I'm going to call this done, until someone spots something I need to fix.

A higher res version, maybe?

Other than that it's a high mark for the rest of us to achieve.

I love this 'map in a tin' effect. It reminds me of a couple of rather expensive novelty books I bought a couple of years ago

At this point the only way to make it higher resolution is to make it a bit smaller.

It's beautiful at either size, though probably the first one is better for display? I think its got loads more potential than mine has for winning the Challenge

This looks great. I love how it seems like the dungeon is actually inside the book! The gold ornaments at the corners look great too.

The local photoprinters have these photobook albums that the cover has a cutout so you can see into the first page, so that is exactly how I designed it.

I can see it now that you've pointed it out, but I would never have guessed that's what they were.

I make up for my total lack of drawing ability by being able to find unique items and graphics and piece them together into something new and interesting.
