I agree with everyone's sentiments: this was a really hard one to decide on. In the end, I think I limited myself to ... 4 votes ... I think.

I had an equally hard time picking ONE directly to go in with my map; but I wasted too much time waffling and didn't finish. I'm determined to complete this one, though, and have made great progress ... you know, now that that progress doesn't count! -LOL!

One bright point, as InfiniteBlue88 reminded me the other night, this challenge did force me to create a veritable stockpile of teensy-weency-tiny little objects with which to decorate future towns and villages: crates, potted plants, barrels, wagons, tents, oars, chimneys, signs, farm animals, troughs, etc. So, I gained more than just more experience from this challenge. Although, the experience is award enough.

Thanks again, as always, for a wonderful challenge, Mr. Bogues! Can't wait 'till the next one!

Everyone did outstanding! Even in the Lite Challenges, the competition is stiff. I really need to start joining these challenges at the beginning. It's always mid to late month that I start thinking "I wonder what's going on at the Cartographer's Guild?"

I might make myself some calendar reminders so I don't forget for future ones!

OK, then. I will give you all a heads up because I am going to try something really different for the next challenge. 3 words. Caves of Chaos.

Looks like we have a tie this month. Congrats to Bioluminescence and Samstego. Great maps from both of you. And well done to Straf too.

I almost had that bling within my grasp and I would have gotten away with it too if it weren't for those pesky kids

Congratulations to Bioluminescence and Samstego, and well done to all the other participants too. It's been a great challenge this month.

I'm incredibly honored to be sharing my first silver compass with Samstego!

I'm still in awe of the hand-crampingly-intense line work in Vettalasi. Utterly awe inspiring.
So I guess fishing villages were in for this challenge

    Congratulations Bioluminescence and Samstego

(Poor Straf! Never mind - next time maybe)

All of you - really good show, and don't forget to upload your finished entries to the Finished Maps forum!

Well I voted for you Bio <3
This was incredibly unexpected but quite welcome outcome! It was nearly a three way tie with Straf there, you're still a winner in my heart man.

    Thanks again all!
