Why thank you rdan! I have to admit, a lot of the inspiration for this map, has come from the 2nd ed D&D game my husband is running for myself and our two teenagers. We just finished a 5 lvl 'dungeon' that was 'carved' out of the insides of a Great Tree! And once I get a handle on how to use Perspectives, I plan to map a '3D' version of it! It will probably take me 6 months to a year to do!

The Great Tree of this forest was originally the center of the druid's Sacred Grove... but an evil order corrupted the Great Tree and carved out a temple in it. It was filled with all kinds of undead from this ancient order... so we used a lot of fire to clear this place out! We were about half way through when this challenge started, so I was already in the mindset, and the fire defense became the central idea for my map!

Thank you, one and all, to all who shared this challenge with me and worked to produce such an interesting and varied range of works. I am very flattered to have won so many votes by taking the less popular option 2 of this challenge - I say less popular because I think I was the only one who did?

In all honesty, I was expecting Fran to win!

No - Diamond won the last one. My attempt was kyboshed by the total nightmare of the Creators Update. I lost 4 vital days near the end of the challenge just trying to get my laptop to function somewhere near normal in its aftermath, and never managed to finish on time - not that I would have stood a chance against the map that Diamond created anyway

As for Sap? I think he's quite safe for now
