... oh yes, and just by the way... this is looking absolutely amazing! Looking forward to seeing it finished!
Thanks a lot Tonquani ! It was an amazing break : good food, pleasant people, and a wonderful day by the sea

    Yup, nothing else to add.
    Thanks so much Ilanthar !

Some progress : I'm a little further already, but the next steps are not finished yet, so here is something probably definitive. The maps didn't turned as I imagined, but it was a good occasion to work on something different and it was an interesting experimentation. Hope you'll love it !

As always from you, this is awesome, apart from the banners and border which are just top, I particulary like the discrete tones of colour. And... my neck doesn't say thank you

Aww, thanks so much, Tenia ! Hope you'll love it fully colored too !
My apologies for your neck : it sounds people often saying my work is bad for their health, unfortunately !

So... here is a maybe-or-maybe-not finished version of the map. I just can't decide if I let the colors as they are or if I torture them a little more. I assume what bothers me is partly the fact I already used this pink/yellow combination for Tirasea a little while ago, but pink/yellow are the colors of Istia, which was decided... 12 years ago, or something like this. So it's just a weird coincidence and I assume I should just accept it ^^
If I didn't changed my mind tomorrow or the day after, I'll post a better quality version for the final one, of course

    Fantastic work, as always, Misty!

I'm so envious of your ability to come up with so much text to add to your map. For me, this is one of the most difficult things in mapmaking. I love calligraphy, could spend hours and hours lettering stuff, but I don't know what to write (on my maps, that is...). Still dreading the moment I will have to compose the text that will fill the cartouche on my challenge entry.

Hmm... I was a writer before being a map maker (at least if you consider having some ink instead of blood in the veins makes a writer even if not published ), so I assume it's why text is so present in my personal projects : how drawing and text work together in maps is something fascinating for me. In this specific case, I'm also helped with the fact I know this world so well : I should have 200 to 300 pages written about it somewhere, and I can't count how many hours spent to talk about it with other fellows
But if I can help... : I'm never happy with what I write on my maps, I just force myself to accept imperfection from time to time, or I would never be able to end anything !
I know there is one date missing in the timeline and that would make it 100% consistent. I saw it, and decided to not edit it. Two years ago, I would not have been able to do it. It's a weird victory, but... it's a victory

Finally untouched (learning imperfection once again ^^), here is the final version in a better resolution, hoping you'll all love it
