Thanks all for your comments. I've tried my best to fix/implement the piece based on your suggestions, but unfortunately, I can't spare this anymore time as I've other things I need to focus on ATM. So this will have to be called done.

    Lore:

In the realm of Agarok, a foul placed ruled by an aristocracy of warped individuals (rumours persist of devlish ancestry and none of the ruling class deny it), slavery is common place and one of the great entertainments are gladiatorial bouts. In the capital, Aborsol the Queen commissioned her mages to build a coliseum worthy of the grandest bout. So they created the Fighting Pit. A coliseum sunk into the ground with the challenge of all challenges! The champions from each stable plus those slaves and other miscreants sentenced to die, enter the pit from four doorways on the floor of the arena. The gladiators are well armed, the prisoners have to make to do. The last one standing, that makes it to the tower's pinnacle is given their freedom, bestowed upon them by no less than the Queen herself.

    That looks a lot better!

Remember that this is a 2-month challenge and it ends in February.

I couldn't help myself, there were a couple of little things bothering me that weren't quite right so I, hopefully, fixed them up.

Each grid square is the gaming standard, 5ft or 1.5m for those using metric.

Much better as bkh1914 said. With all that blood it really lokks like a deadly dungeon!
A last quibble: the bottom left stair is not aligned with the grid.

Thanks Tenia, it's certainly meant to be deadly!

A last quibble: the bottom left stair is not aligned with the grid.
Well actually it is, just not the main, visible grid, though it is centred to the side of the block The stairs and coliseum use a grid at 50% of the main grid - I thought 5ft high steps might be a bit much...

That is really going to look interesting! I like that you decided to go with a view that wasn't top-down!

Thanks Krow. It's pretty much done as good as my skill set will allow. I might, in accordance with some feedback from Will & Polly Shires on the CG G+ Community, add a turntable of some description so punters can view all the action. From this perspective, punters in the northern half of the arena get to see very little as the view is from the southern part of the stand. I might also 'borrow' some of Bogies objects to dress it up a bit, a corpse here and there, some shields and weapons...We'll see if I get time.
