    Wow, it came out great! I love it. GW might have a point about the rivers being a tad too strong, but it's by no means a big issue.

    Thanks GW About the bay, I wanted to keep it pretty clear (blue near the coasts only) and, had I to redo it, I'd remove the label, it feels odd. The blue is quite much indeed, I should have used a nib instead of a brush but my daughter must have hidden those ...

    I really like that you challenged yourself to do this all by hand! I think it worked out well, I'm sure you learned a lot in the process, I always love the way you do your parchment backgrounds.
