The color palette is gorgeous, muted suites it well. Your penmanship is really clean, and the watercolors(?) make for a lovely ascetic.

I really love that we have so many traditional method pieces this go around.

Yesterday was a dark day for me and my map.

You probably know how it is with traditionnal mapping... Well I took the wrong pen to shade the island I was working on, and it goes over shaded compare to what I would. Any way, I had to overshade the other one as well to keep it all coherent.

I'm a bit disapointed about it, but it is one of the risk, and I will learn to look twice at my pen before use it.

I will still continue to do my best on this one, here is the WIP of the day:

I guess it is going to work, but it looks more darker as I expected...

Ho, god. Just reading this makes my heart sink This is why my weak mind could never handle traditional media...

Really love the borderwork here, I must say. Really attractive design!

    Antoine!

    This. Is. Brilliant!

Your penmenship is awesome and really brings this world alive. Making this mirrored border design is quite a feat in traditional media and you nailed it.

I love all the little details you put in there. The awesome gargoyles, the book in the lower left corner, the gothic elements, the towns, I’m stunned..

Way to go! The stark contrast in the shadows actually works, it gives that really bright light idea and the upper realms of Myrn could use that.

I’m honored that you bring this world alive.

Thank you JO, I believe the gothic style saves me with darker contrast.

Ah ah! you can imagine that minutes after the crash when you feel sh*ty as hell, and just want to tear your 20 hours work in 10 second! It is a good self control practice actually!

I'm relieved you're ok with the dark contrast! I'm finally not so disapointed about it as I keep drawing and feel it still looks good.
