Hi Mouse,
No, that is from one of ProFantasy's Annuals.
I will be making more of mine soon though. I start working on my Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts: Communication Design this month. :-)
It has been awhile since I posted on here. I have not done an update to this thread in awhile but hope to do one over this weekend. I started my Communication in Design degree program two weeks ago and it has been taking up most of my time. It has been a long time since I took any art classes and it shows - LoL! I have not taken an art class since Junior High and I am 47 now. But, I am having a lot of fun. I am better than I thought I would be and I am doing great in my classes, but I have a long way to go. If you want to follow along, you can see my school projects at https://charleswaynerobinson.deviantart.com/. I made a specific folder for Communication Design in my gallery. I post everything so you can see the changes as I get better (At least I hope I get better - LoL!). Feel free to make comments, give suggestions, and have a laugh or two. I will keep working on my maps, but they will be less frequent.
Thanks everyone!
I have been real busy so I have not posted in a long while. I started a degree in Communication Design back in August and it has kept me very busy. I have also been working at the same time; brand management, marketing communications, and public relations. Add staying at my Dad's (without my computer) helping to take care of him after open heart surgery. And now, my Mom is battling cancer again. I do have some stuff to post though. I made a cartography piece for the final project in my Foundations A course last semester. All the symbols used were sketched out and hand painted. The bitmaps were hand painted. Everything was photographed and touched up. They then were processed through Photoshop and then uploaded to Campaign Cartographer 3+ and used to make a map. I used the border and text from CC3+. Besides that, I have been doing a lot of drawing (graphite, charcoal, and ink), photography (color, black & white, and photo manipulation), painting (color, restricted palette, black and white, and ink wash), carving, cereal box design, digital art, fabrication and taking other courses such as Art History and Visual Culture. I have learned more about using Illustrator and will be starting Photoshop this week. I made three A's and a B+ last semester. So far I have all A's this semester. Enjoy! :-)
PS: If you want to see my various projects, you can check them out here: https://charleswaynerobinson.deviantart.com/ (I am behind on posts there as well. I am learning so check them out and laugh with me - Lol!)

Well, we will start with the sketches. These symbols will eventually be used for the lands far to the southwest. These are known as the lands of Makara and are split up into West and East. They are a collection of 12 city states. The piece that I did though for my school project is called "The Lands of Indra". :-)
Here is a sample of the hand painted symbols.
Here is the Map. You can download the full size version for free at https://charleswaynerobinson.deviant...ndra-719630937

Enjoy!
