I'm impressed by the way you managed do draw this side view while remaining perfectly consistant with the building's configuration.

Also, the colors are a treat for the eye, especially the blue watery zones... A particularly refreshing sight these days.
    Thanks Marc
    It's a challenge, no doubt.
I might say that it is getting a bit easier... maybe.

I think I already commented on Twitter, but I love this one! It's my favorite of your little journey maps so far. I especially like the fabric awnings over the streets - it really gives the place character and culture. Is this an otter town?

This one was a commission, not on of the patreon Journey maps.
It might have seemed different on twitter because it was posted between other Journey maps.
This one is part of a new game campaign environment that is being developed.
And there are more cool maps from it thta I'm working on.

Maybe I've been living under a rock, but I've never seen the "sky" above the horizon used as another plane to project the overhead view of the map. Genius. I'm stealing it.

    Thanks Heironymus
I've done a few maps in this sort of style.
I can't say I had seen ones quite like it before either, though maybe there are.

I must say this is one of your best side views imo.

    Default What wonderful colors!

I love the way the ocean is handled here, and the inset view of the city at the bottom. This is an absolutely stellar map!

It gets a bit easier to do each time, by small increments. ;P

I'll surprise no-one and say I love that deep, dark ocean! The temple area looks particularly great, the tone is very harmonious with the shore surrounding it.
