Wow, you're working fast and efficiently on this Lingon. It's already top-notch : good ideas and a beautiful render. Makes me think of "Journey to the Center of the Earth" (due to the giant mushrooms ).
Yeah, the fade is just a test of the visual impact it would have, if I end up using it I'll paint it with watercolors like the rest of the map. Thanks fr the comment

Many thanks! Really should read that book, my Jules Verne-fu is weak I took a few days to ponder shade or no shade, and today I decided to leave it white around the rooms. Cut it off the stretching frame, scanned it, threw a texture on it, and wrote way more text than I intended… I get carried away with this stuff

I liked this from the first sketch you did of Lingon, but it grown so much from there. The details and creepiness in the annotations work brilliantly and the whole map just looks stunning. Great work!
This is so awesome, the art and the story

That's fantastic!! I agree with GLS, the first sketch looked great, but it's come so far from that!
The notes on the side really add to it too, great job!
Gorgeous job on it Lingon!
Me Too, I agree with everyone!! Great side view map, really excellent story, But something is missing,,, I need to know where the broken bridge leading up to the left goes. Outside? To another chamber? A different complex? And what beings or creatures live in the natural tunnel that goes up to the right?
