Base art mostly done, now details - rocks, river flows, dirty up trails, position text for legibility, etc. Also highlights and shadows. Comments welcome.

This is goooorgeous. I would totally visit here, you made it such a great balance between something fantastic and the real world, it's beautiful.
I love all the detail. Lettering looks nice too.
What I'm about to say next however is entirely subjective and may vary greatly from one viewer to the next so take it as such. It's just so green, all cool colors. Makes my eye starve for something. I feel like I want to see some warmth in there somewhere, just a few hints of color.
But it's a fantastic map on it's own, seriously.
An impressive map, Snodsy. So, I've looking for a nitpick for a long while and I think you could maybe work the river in the top right a little more (with shadows/light?).

If I had to nitpick, which I don't, I would agree with Ilanthar that you could get a bit more definition with the water.
You have outline/edge lines for the trees and some other things but not for the paths and the waters.
Was that an intentional decision?
You could also maybe have the highlights on the trees be a bit stronger, brighter, for a bit more contrast.
But that's all just extra. It does look good as it is.

Wonderful work, I really like it! Since you used outlines anyway I would at least use the same thickness around the title (Cincinnati Nature Center stuff) - just because the color chances to the map itself are really subtle, they are probably even less visible after print and the forest seems weirdly cut. Just nitpicking, this is incredible work! =)
