Yeah, that's not too bad on purple
There are some colors that look a bit meh on - yellow, orange, pink, red.... those just sort of clash with it.

It always start with a tower... and then it’s out of control !
Actually I'm using that kind of notepads to train myself : mountains, rivers, shorelines, forests, labels... I doodle to practice. Now, I'm trying to find a way to draw mountains from top down view... but I can’t figure out a way to draw those without doing it with caterpillars... I'm still searching....
Searching and experimenting is the way.
You learn so much through that process of exploration and discovery.
There's someone here on the Guild that has a gorgeous technique for top down mountains...
I'm trying to recall their user name...
