Honestly my favorites are all big fantasy things already, so I don't think they'd be appropriate. I mean there is a reason they are big things after all
Hey guys, just an update...
Firstly, thank you so much to everyone who has submitted their recommendations so far. We've got some great book suggestions and, with a few more, we've probably got enough for a couple of blog posts.
We're making a small change in the way you submit your suggestions. Instead of sending me a PM, we've set up a submission form to use instead. This should make it easier to send your suggestions in the format we need, and it'll be simpler for us to organise things in the background.
So, if you haven't sent in a book recommendation yet, go to bit.ly/guildbooks, complete the form, then press submit. That's it.
Reminder... please DO NOT post your ideas here. I'll have to delete your comment if you post your recommendation in this thread, and your book won't be included. Use the form instead. Looking forward to receiving more of your best books!

You're welcome to submit a popular series if you want. It's easy to assume everyone will have read the big names already, but that's not necessarily the case. Some people might never have got round to it, and your words might be the thing that persuades them.
Also, it's nice to hear why a book appeals to someone.

A few days left to submit your fantasy book recs. If you want to convince the unconverted why they should be reading a certain fantasy series, go right ahead. Or, if you want to tell the world about that obscure fantasy novel that you love and no-one else has heard of, it's time to seize the day.

I want to say something, I do not agree with the thing about only sending a recommendation via PM. I would happily have done it as part of this thread. But, just PM'ing it removes the possibility that many can enjoy the recommendations from our fellow cartographers. So, I'm just making a note of it.
