This is taking a lot longer than I thought it would. I'm not 'drawing' the elements rather I'm giving the package commands such as line, arc, circle and, of course, undo

Anyway I've put a few of the major buildings in and I might move onto GIMP to add some details, etc.

EDIT: It might help to add the actual WIP (I'm tired - that's my excuse!)

    It all looks totally precise

You don't like making things easy for yourself do you!

What software is this that you are using? Is it still CAD, or have you swapped to something else?

It's LibreCAD. I'm surrounded by little sketches on paper with all the coordinates written on so I know where the various lines and things go.

You make your workstation sound like some kind of mad professor's studio

I'm doubting I'm going to be even close to anything resembling a map. I know, 2 months and I start it in the last week - it's just like a uni assignment, only this is one heck of an assignment. Whose stupid idea was it to combine a number of themes?

I very much underestimated this challenge.

    Not you as well, Straf!

As for the stupid idea - I'm pretty sure it was yours!

Well I've enjoyed taking part, anyway, and I'm pretty sure everyone else has enjoyed it - even the others who had to pull out, I'm sure

It will join a long list of them JO haha!

I think what I've been guilty of here is working on the story rather than the map. I think I go too far and too deep into the whys and whats, trying to make things make sense when really nobody cares that much when it comes to it . I tend to overthink things.
