Thanks, J! It's still not completely set in stone, but I do kind of like the tones like this, so I don't think I'll change them... well, not much, anyway.

Final update for the day, some further brushwork on the mountains.
Tomorrow I'm off to a RPG convention for a couple of days, so I won't be able to continue on this until I get back. Should be fun, though!

Oh ! I wasn't expecting this style from you ! Defnitely interesting !
I would like so much to find some time to work on my own corner of the world, but there's no way at the moment : all what I can do is enjoying your work !

(Have some fun at the convention ! ^^)

    Thanks, guys!

I have just returned home, and am exhausted but happy. The convention was a blast, I had so much fun.
Now I'm home for two days, and then I'm off again. No rest for the wicked...

I love the color scheme already. And those mountains are excellent!

Long time with no progress on this one! I refuse to give it up.

After a long pause, I looked it over and decided I hated what I'd done so far. So I ditched everything, created a new file and started over. I think I'm going to go with my more typical isometric mountains and such after all - I think they are, in the the end, a lot more 'me' than these top-down things would have been. And since this will be my representation on the Guild World, I think it's good if it feels a bit more like that.

    That's the spirit
I liked what you had been doing, but totally get the sentiment.
Quite right. Eager to see what you'll do.

    Looks beautiful already!
I have to say I did love the mountains on the previous version, but oh well I'm sure this will turn out to be another masterpiece

I offer map commissions for RPG's, world-building, and books
