    First guys, thanks for being on the bridge !

    You're right about the texture, I dunno what I was thinking, it's completely off with the general atmosphere of the map. I guess I was lazy ... again. I might try this texture on another map in the future.

    Details of the forest are coming, I did several tests and my wrist is slowly accepting to be tamed so it'll be done in the near future.

    The colors are really bulky but they're temporary. I'll add texture to the sea and forest later with variations of green and blues, opacity and blend modes will do the rest as snodsy says.

    And the filling seems right so I'll go back to work, might post something before going to sleep.

    Very beautiful, I love where this is going.

    One thing I just noticed: the shadow in the cave mouth is solid black. I think that stands out a bit too harshly. You could try using lines that follow the shale of the cave to shade it, leaving small bits of white to suggest texture.

    Great concept Thomas! My personal opinion is along the others:
    I think your lineart is really great, and I think that you should try to not "cover" it too much with heavy textures or bold colorsm but don't be afraid of try things! keep experimenting!

    Thanks Blaidd and Tom, I'll put the map on hold for a few days but I'll definitely take your advices.

    The cave's mouth is pitch black and stands out way too much, you're right Blaidd.

    About the colors, Tom, they're temporary, just a base to work on. The fusion masks are the important part and I'll have a huge amount of work texturing both see and forests with shadow and light. Overlay is the ally of the cartographer !

    Here's another update. Did the terrain details that now need shading.

    Some rocks will need a more defined lining. Oh, and I added some strange features. Tell me what you think.

    If I may, nice improvements but for the rivers under the trees, it looks like a bit like scars. Maybe add more landforms like the ones around the mountain on the right side of the lower forest.
    The features are cool, but the mushrooms need some improvements
    I'd be so glad if I can draw like this, great map!

    The mountains are looking really cool, Thomrey, and I like what you have done to the shores, but I'm still a bit confused about the forests.

    That's a much nicer texture for the sea

    Actually, the forest are still to be done, the little patch you're talking about, fol2dol, are just a test. I'll see if the covered rivers work when it's done. Also, colors are not final, I'll rework them for the forests, the grasslands and the see and also play with shadows. What do you think of the rocky parts (not the mountains who are done for me) ?

    @ fol2dol : the features need reworking, and I need to add some
