    Wonderful colour scheme. I see what you mean about the legibility. The red numbers would need to
    A. Be white or a very light shade with a drop shadow.
    B. Lose the drop shadow and use a white outline around the red.

    Hope that helps.

    ahh.. my mind can rest well asure that up is still up in the world .. looking great. The dropshadow under the red numbers makes them look blurry, so I'd change that. Otherwise it's looking great

    Thanks guys! Yeah, the world is no longer upside down haha. I'm making slow progress for the moment. Not sure how I like the newer effects but it's coming along.

    Looking good! I think you are missing a town name above Fulfullyum (amazing name by the way!) and top left.

    I'm missing more than one, as I want to name the mountains and lakes too! I think this map will actually require more conlanging than mapmaking! I'm glad you looked so closely though. :þ

    Here is the etymology for that town you noticed – maybe you'll like it even more knowing where the origin of the name. :þ

    Fulfullyum /vulˈvuʎ.ʎum/ ~ [vulˈvu.jum] comes from
    1. fulfule /vulˈvu.lə/, “deep”, from the homonymic fulfule, “between, among”, itself a reduplication of fule /ˈvu.lə/, “against, over”, from Proto-Ov *pŕabal /pʰɹa.bal/, “side” (cognate to Ov bobl /boɫ/, “length”);
    2. -lyum /ʎum/, a suffix for a place, from lyum /ʎum/, “here”, itself from Proto-Ov *lûm /lɯm/, “place” (cognate to Ov läm /læm/, with the same meaning, and Vayst lem /lẽ/, the dative marker).

    Great map and a lot of respect for your "etimologic work". I really like when people cares about details.

    Holy cow ... Just looking at that makes my head want just cave in... I have a lot of respect for those who go that far but I don't think I would ever have the patience for such an undertaking, at least not yet.

    Man, this is a cool looking map, I just love maps with realistic looking contour lines.

    Thanks everybody. <3 It's high time I update, deadline coming up fast. I didn't like my (glitchy) shaders so I came up with a third version which I think is a lot better. What else? Rivers, lakes, distance fixes. More labels, just a couple more to do.
