    I prefer the first one, the contrast is better imo.

    Painted mountains in Illustrator. 100% vector. First try ever. Comments welcome.

    I'm a vector fan so I love the mountains. I found that when I did this style in vector I needed 3 tints to really make them pop. The lightest tint was the complementary colour of the background.

    Some more stuff in Illustrator. the goal is to get a nice style that look a bit hand painted. For a sort of poetic map.

    I am not satisfied so far - but I know how to solve the problems. The mountains are ok for now.

    It's looking good Carnifex! I think you nailed this style of yours. And for once, I find the hexagons are really fitting with the map.
