Jykke, that is awesome, to an unbelievable level.

It looks totally photorealistic, like an actual aerial shot of an island on a giant tortoise's back. Mucho Kudos to you.

Thanks Karro for the positive comment It sure did take some hours to construct. What I would like to do is a map on a even bigger scale with this technique, but it's quite tricky to get things just the way I want. Maybe with time and practice I can produce even more photorealistic maps, that's my goal.

Voting is getting harder and harder in these contests...
This map is surely a stunner... but it's not the only stunning entry. Ack!

I know I am gonna vote for this one, no questions asked.

While I only dabble in the 3D medium, I know that the amount of work that went into this one is overwhelming.

On top of that, it looks awesome.

Well done Jykke. Great map. I would rep you, but I'm a noob, so I can't.

I think you can but it is a +1 repping stick to start with.

I was almost going to leave the map as it was, but thanks to Karro's comment on another thread, I decided to finish the fort map and add it to the current work. So here it is. Oh, and I did add also some other things aswell, if you notice.

As this map is "finished", atleast for the moment, I hope I did some improvement compared to my previous Challenge map, and this time my work could be called a map (of some sort).

As Gandwarf said, It's going to be a tough challenge, as for example Tear's work looks really good, not to forget the other works that have been posted sofar.
