    I think I'd need to see them in the context of the whole map to judge. On that blank white background, the coloring in does more to detract than enhance, IMO, but that could be reversed in a more complex environment.

    Yes, great moutnains ! I'm with Jaxilon for the choice, but as said, it all depends on what's the rest looks like

    Very fine mountains. And yup, hard to tell right now about the colors.

    Thanks all. Making progress today, but slow. Work for about 30 minutes or so then my eyes start getting buggy and have to take a break. I wasn't completely convinced on the color, and feel as though I should have started in color to begin with if I wanted to go that way.

    Yay! Finally finished up the main mountains. There are more to add in the foreground, but they aren't nearly as intense and will be drawn in as I get to them. Probably some hills as well, but will have to experiment a bit to see if I can get the right kind of look. For now it is planning time for farms, villages, a castle, and some rivers/lakes. Wish me luck!

    That is really a nice style, it will come out a really nice drawing once finished .
