Something was bugging me about the coastlines, and now that you've put that white stroke in there, it really helps. Maybe because it works like a transition between land and sea? Whatever the reason, it looks much better now.
And I guess I'm in the minority about your mountains; I love them and wouldn't change anything.
Thanks Saria, I'm glad if it's of some help... honestly, I'm almost always doing a WIP because the guild helps me so much during it!
Well, I haven't planned to change the mountains (lines and shadings), so glad you both like it !
@Diamond : yep, I find it's better with this contour line. But I'm wondering if I should add a second one or not.

Some tests : crops lands and swamps near the two lakes and a more temperate forests in altitude, in the bottom part, near mountains.
For me the sea is perfect like this. And i like your mountains as well . Waiting for the next update.
Thanks!
I've tried to do a smoother transition between mountains and plains, added some green touches to the crop lands and a coniferous forest... Not sure about that last one.

For the transition between mountains and plains, have you thought about doing, on a more widespread basis, something like the area(s) I pointed out below? No black outlines, just the brown 'highlighted' spots.
It's an excellent idea. Not exactly sure of how I'm dealing with it, but I'll certainly give it a try. Thanks Diamond !
Busy at work, so a small update.

And here's Diamond's test about the mountain/plain transition. I think it looks better, mostly in some places (like high valleys and mountain passes), but it's not so visible at small size. I also added steppes/grasslands.

I'm gonna work on the plateau and the towns/buildings now...
It's looking fab, Ilanthar.
