I haven't read the text yet, but wow! Great work! It's a beauty.
Outstanding work Lingon! The text adds even more atmosphere to the whole map and the classic typewriter font works very good. With the text between the drawings it seems absolutely fine to leave the ground white as it was before.

Wow wow wow! Once again I realize why I'm a Lingon fanboy...
Really well done, but I'd use a different font, instead on the monospaced typeface.
I'm stunned by this map ! Wonderful job ! Here comes some rep.
Wow, thanks everybody, you're awesome! I'll see if I can fit in some short notes about where the tunnels are leading, to whet Bogie's curiosity a little further, though I imagine the team never explored far in those directions… And I might try some different fonts, Snodsy, I was actually thinking it was rather the big title that needed a different look but I'll see if I can find some other typewriter fonts with different spacing too Really glad you all like it, it's a lot of fun, thank you so much!
So here's the last update I think, just added a couple of notes about the cave tunnels and some minor wording tweaks, and changed the title font for something more toned down. Decided I like the monospacing for this one, so I kept the typewriter font. Also made the frame a tiny bit more fun. So yeah, thanks for the support everyone!

This is beyond awesome! I've only now had the chance to read the text, and I'm desperate to know what's behind the final door!
Also, I noticed a little typo in the text for Fig 8: 'Abandoned' has got two b's.
I'm thinking something nasty happened to Mr. Jones when he went back to the surface.
