    Thanks a lot...
I need to learn a lot too, especially regarding coloring. I'm more of an apprentice in that department.
In drawing too, I reckon... Never took a class... just spent hours drawings 20 years ago (my God... 20...)
I'm only babbling regarding perspective, layers, blending mode...
The frustrating thing is that I have a lot of scenes, landscapes, buildings, situations in my mind, but I lack the knowledge to put them on paper properly.
And the good thing about this Guild, is that I finally dared to try... So, all my drawings here are just attempts to make on the computer what I have in mind... but it's always far from each other.
So I think you should too just try... throw yourself in coloring and don't be afraid to show them : I found only good people here, trying to help, giving advises and encouragments : you don't risk much, only to learn and receive help
I'm looking forward to look at your colored drawings soon !

JO I not only admire your talent but also your humility You strike me as the type of person who would not only praise a child for sticking a drawing on the fridge door but would offer constructive advice on how that drawing could be improved, and in a non patronising way

Like you said you don't risk a lot by posting here, but you can gain a lot from insight

Also, the color sample you put up reads just so and has a lovely, friendly feel to it. I'm really looking forward to seeing this finished.

So, here's the plaza... not finished (I have to colour the statue and the astrolabe, add details on the ground, and shadows...

But I want to be sure that we can recognize what I wanted to draw...

Excellent!... But why the founder isn't pointing toward its own district ?
I like a lot your ideas and that Plaza is quite impressive and detailed.

    Thanks !

Well, the founder has to point North, isn't he ? He's the reference ...

It's a bit slow to my taste... I just had time to ink the first wall of the castle... and finish the colour of the plaza)
