Sorry about your knuckles. If you want a change of pace you might want to look at the waterfall because they tend to get full of air as they fall and turn white. I'm thinking the height of yours would surely be white as it hits the bottom. You can do a Google search on waterfalls to see what I mean. Its possible also that you just haven't got to that yet though. Go go go, this looks great.

Thanks for the tip on the waterfall. That's handy information. I made that change, and added a market and some crops. I'm still playing with text styles and placement, so that'll probably change soon enough. I'm going to add a small temple of some sort, and I think that'll be it for the major buildings. I'll make some smaller ones to fill in the gaps and then figure out how I want to do the documentation of it all. Something tells me that's going to be the hardest part of this whole thing. Anyway...

I've been working on this fountain and I thought it turned out nice, so I figured I'd throw it up here for review, and then maybe put it in the elements forums in case anyone else can use it. With and without the parchment background...

A couple more buildings and the fountain. Probably the last update for the night. Kids are hungry...

Oh! I love the cozy glow in the windows of the building by the fountain. This has come a long way since I last looked at it and it's looking great. I missed the part where the river grew though. Is it in flood so that's why the trees are in there?

Can't wait to find out about Galyen and Woorward.

    cheers,

    The waterfall update is great.
If the trees in the river are meant to be little islands, perhaps showing a bit of land peaking out around the edges would look better.
