Thankyou very much everyone, you are so kind ...

I decided to try to figure out some dimensions ... If someone can help me would be grateful too ...

I tried to guess the distance size according to the perspective and mostly the largeness of the terrain features and I have come to an approximative conlcusion of a size wideness of 5 kms from side to side of a terrain feature including structural borders... what do you think ? is it plausible ? its larger or smaller?

According to this , in the 3d tool I calculated the radiusof the structure that would be around 16 km ...

    So

    Internal Radius : 32 Km
    Angular Velocity : 0.167 Rotations/minute
    Tangential Velocity : 560.758 m/sec
    Centripetal Acceleration: 1 g
    Location : Planet–Moon L5 Lagrangian point
Total mass: 188 million tons (including radiation shield (95%), habitat, and atmosphere)
    Diameter: 64 Km
    Circumference: 200,96 Km
Habitation antiradiation glass tube diameter thickness: 130 m (430 ft)
Radiation shield: 1.7 meters thick raw lunar soil
    Terrain Area Surface : 170.816 Km^2
Radial terrain diameter : 10 Km
    Highest peak : 2000 m
    Lowest Peak underwater : 500 m

What you think of the size approximation?

Are you talking about he entire ring? Seems small according to the terrain features, but my perspective may be way off. See to me those mountains look like they could be around 1000 or more meters in height. But terrain is very fractal in aspect so there is no real clear visual guide other than one's own expectations. Perhaps if you included some sort of size reference somehow? Like a tower of known hight?

Ok I doubled the sizes, making 10 kms wide, radius to internal Terrain

So here is the ### FINAL IMAGE ### For My First Ever Partecipation in a Mapping Challenge ...

This Dystopian Ringworld was inspired by a Competition in the Cartographers Guild
The Basic Idea is that Humanity living on the Once abitable planet was forced to build a new Home in space because of a Cataclysm that hit the homeworld.
This lead to the Creation of Orbis ( meaning both Ring and World in Latin ) , a Huge megastructure Ring World .

    Name: Orbis
    nternal Radius : 32 Km
    Angular Velocity : 0.167 Rotations/minute
    Tangential Velocity : 560.758 m/sec
    Centripetal Acceleration: 1 g
    Location : Planet–Moon L5 Lagrangian point
Total mass: 188 million tons (including radiation shield (95%), habitat, and atmosphere)
    Diameter: 64 Km
    Circumference: 200,96 Km
Habitation antiradiation glass tube diameter thickness: 130 m (430 ft)
Radiation shield: 1.7 meters thick raw lunar soil
    Terrain Area Surface : 2009,6 Km^2
Radial terrain diameter : 10 Km
    Highest peak : 2000 m
    Lowest Peak underwater : 500 m

    Trivia On Making of:

There are flocks and Herds hidden in the map.
There are no manmade structures visible
There is a little Reflection of the opposite side of the Ring on the sea based on The Italian Peninsula , barely visible if even .
Geographical Features were taken from New Zealand, Caribbean Islands, Seljalandsfoss in Iceland for the Waterfall and Alaska clouds Green landscape mountain nature river Snowy Peak Spring Valleym the Highest mountain Peak is from Alps In Italy.
The Little Spaceships are from my previously made Eva Pods for the Albatross Spaceship.

    Softwares used :

    3dsmax for basic Ringworld structure
Keyshot for Basic Single Element rendering
Photoshop for Photomanipulation , Texturing, composition and everything else.
Grand Designer for The Planet and the moon.
Google Earth for Maps and images.

    Time to complete 32 - 48 hours.

Btw Can I post this also in Finished maps?
In case is against rules please delete from there.

This is an exceptional piece of artwork - I really like it. And I love the details you have given.

But major criticism time: My main issue is it's not really a map. No locations or anything are marked on it - I don't know where anything is.

It's an interesting struggle between art and map.

Thanks, Well I consider it a map , as much as Is Google Earth .
Of course the contorns of this map are peculiar and different from a classical flat map with borders around.

This is visually stunning! Possibly the coolest representation of the ring world concept that I've ever seen!

Kind of my opinion as well. But gosh darn it, it's just so pretty!

Well I have tried adding some Holographic labeling , trying to keep it coherent with the rest...

Still I think yet to prefer the unlabeled version.
