Looking great! (that was also very quick). The line squigglies look really nice, they add a lot of detail to the map.

Aha! I can understand those labels because I'm learning Dutch. Forest city 1, forest city 2, forest city 3, forest capital city, big forest, Empire of the Forest Elves... Wow! Those are some creative names there!! I think the large text drowns out the map and you should downsize it a bit..

Thanks, those names are indeed very creative. I'm waiting for my client/girlfriend to agree with map as it is and then I will dive into labeling this map properly (with proper names ;p)

On a side note: what's the reason you're learning dutch? I would guess your roots by your last name (:

So here's is what's likely going to be the final update.

I have finished labeling and changed the High-Elven towns a little to fit more with what my girlfriend had in mind.

She also didn't like the land texture and showed me something that she liked better. I'm not really happy with what it looks like, but she's my client so I'll have to stick with it...

I agree with you, I personally really don't like the knew land texture.. it distracts a lot from the map and clutters everything up, hard on the eyes a little bit. But, as you say, she is your client, and your girlfriend! You can't argue with that.
