wow... yes, even I like the sea much better now!

As for the dragon... I think the muted color of the dragon is fine... if he was brightened too much, he would clash with that beautiful sea.

Oh, and Storm is just fine That is the name I go by at home... I only added the 'Ladie' years ago, because one of the websites I belonged to had a Sir Storm Catcher... I was Ladie Stormseeker...
Like a thief in the night
    she comes with no form
    yet tranquility proceeds
    the accursed storm...

Haha, well, that is odd. I never knew that about rubies/sapphires.

I prefer the latest version of the blue, but i think my slight nitpicky feeling about the blue stems more from the contrast of the sea-blue with the less saturated greyish blue you used for the dragon (which is an absolute stunner btw! ).
Hopefully I'll make him even cooler.

That wyvern took a while to get 'right' [not sure if he is right or not... but he stays ;P]

That is how I ended up as sirinkman on DA, already was an inkman... which is what I really wanted to use.

Okay - so this new sea color seems to be more preferred.
Did the shadow and highlights on the trees.
I have a bit more highlighting to do to some of the mountains...
Then it'll be time for the dragon, the desolation and burned lands, and labeling.

Here's as far as I got today.
Gotta go fix someone's door knob... so gotta stop for now.
I feel like I am most of the way there.
Labels will likely be next... not much time left.

Ok, now I'm actually in love with this map. The dragon and its fire are just splendid to behold.

Shame I can't rep you again. Did that on one of the earlier versions

Oh boy, the fire and the reflection of it on the chest scales looks just fabulous! It rounds up the whole piece very nicely, and i promise, next time i'll shut my mouth regarding the colors until it's finished!

Holy WOW!! That's looking amazing! The map itself is gorgeous, but that dragon is the (flaming!) cherry on top. Fantastic!

What was that mearrin said in Sap's thread? Oh yeah...

    <quietly withdraws from competition>

Dang that's one nice map. I LOVE the shelving effect of the mountains/valleys. Really fantastic.

    *throws hands into the air*

I give up! What can mere mortals do against such power?! ...

This looks incredible. Wish I could rep you.
