And another post for the 31st Inktober (even if I'm 14 short, don't worry, they'll come !). It's also my entry for this month's lite challenge.

Thanks Joel ! As you can see, I'm running late but I'll definitely get my 31 maps by the end of November. Some kind of extended Inktober interbreeded with Mapvember. The hatchings can be a real pain but they can also be meditative at some point
Thanks CP !
Thanks Sue and my wife is great indeed
Thanks Ilanthar ! I really love that one too, I'll have to color it some day. I have to thank J.Edward for it as I took a lot of inspiration from his work.
Thanks Blaidd ! I did this one thanks to you as you already know so, double thanks Moleskines are fun to draw on but the thin paper is very hard to color with alcohol based markers.
Thanks a lot John ! And I'll be strong but I'll take my time BTW your Inktober is amazing !
Thanks !
You have to do it ! It's too awesome to stay in black and white !

Not Mapvember as I'm already late by 15 maps in my Inktober but since it's november, let's call it "Mapvember 1 (for lack of a number expressing 3 days late) formerly known as catchup Inktober day 16". That's too long but heck with it ! Drawn with fineliners on the first blank page of my wife's vocabulary moleskine (about 9x14 cm) and colored with copics. Linework took 10 minutes, coloring about 20 (I'm slow with colics). To those wondering, yes, we like fancy notebooks.

Beautifully named, Thomas, really catches the essence of the piece. Nice start of Mapvember/continue of Inktober.
Thanks guys
@ Daniel : Yours are truly awesome, you're a quick draw
@ Ilanthar : Maintenant, il faut que je trouve le temps de la finir ...
Beautiful map, Thomas
I love the way this speed map drawing is loosening up your style so much that some very interesting things are starting to happen
Free parchments | Free seamless textures | Battle tiles / floor patterns | Room 1024 - textures for CC3 | GUILD CITY INDEX
No one is ever a failure until they give up trying
Nice work, Thomas. Cool to see your quick sketches like this and I always remember a friend absolutely swearing by copic markers. Those greens are just lovely together!
Looking forwards to the rest of your Mapinkvemtober!
Nice set of map, Thomas. It seems to be hard to finish such a month challenge, but the result on your drawing skills are really visible. Keep strong, you have all my support.
Cheers.
Thanks Sue, I can feel that freedom growing indeed.
Thanks Greg
Merci beaucoup Warlin It's hard and even after the end, I finish the race. It's also a very good training, you are right.
A trio of maps done with a faber cast ell soft brush on moleskine paper without sketch.
Behold Inktober days 17, 18 and 18 (ok, it's 19 but I screwed up) !
