It's going to be good.

I thought of something more for this thing...
If there are people who don't have the time or desire to map a whole country, we could still include you by having the options to map a town or city within someones country, or to make a flag or heraldic symbol for someones country. You could create a ship for the high seas or a monster that could be placed into the big map at the end.

So if you are one of those people, you want to join in - let me know. We can work that stuff out.

Wow, thanks so much for all the effort John, it's looking awesome! Can't wait to start my "piece of the cake" in that illustrious neighbourhood, but i heard rumours the Cheesy Sea is a fought over place^^

As a fun addition, I thought I'd do a big map that shows some progression.
So each entrant that has started a thread has a flag planted on their country.
Maybe when we have another stage to show, we'll add in something else, like a little city icon or something.
Maybe something when you've chosen a name.

Yay! Flags! That's a very nice idea, it gives the feeling that we've claimed and settled the land. A nice feeling.

I had to do a nicer, cleaner update for that map.
So here's the new one.

As people create threads, they'll get a flag.
When they decide on a name, we'll update that.
I'll come up with some other staged things to do.
Maybe when they have their first cities or something.
Ravs will be first on most of these
