Yes, a lighthouse would have been a possibility, but I already did one in the first week and didn't want to draw another one.
I guess I'll have to try a modern map with "drone" and/or "pod", but to be honest I don't even know where to start and I have absolutely no idea what map I will do tomorrow.

Luckily today's prompt "dock" was easier and so I had a fun time with this map - although the docks are not too prominent. It shows a temple on a small, tropical island.

I like your colors. What you use for colouring?

Thanks, Marcolino! For most of the maps I used watercolour (this small pocket set)

Hooray, I finally had an idea for "drone"! Still not a futuristic style, but at least something a little bit different:

Thanks so much! I guess it "helps" that we are once again in lockdown in Austria. So I have quite some time for mapmaking in the evenings.

    Thanks for your kind words!

Painting with watercolours is also quite new for me, but I love working with them. I think for more precise work coloured pencils are better, but watercolours are way more fun to work with - at least in my opinion.

Yesterday I did a desert map for the first time - which is kinda funny, considering that the prompt was "water". I loved working on this map, although I messed up some of the shading.

Great commitment so far! I was chuckling after the mess and drone map and I think your dock map was especially good.

Thanks, Arimel! I think the dock map is my favourite as well.

Once again I'm a little bit behind. The last days were a bit stressful and today I was baking christmas cookies. But at least now the most difficult prompts are done.

On thursday the prompt was "machine" and after a lot of thinking I decided to do a plan of a windmill:

And yesterday, with the prompt "pod", I finally did my first scifi-map. I had no idea what I was doing, but in the end it was kinda fun. Nevertheless I'll gladly return to fantasy maps for the last prompts.
