I also enjoyed reading about the knights, but I think Sir Tristan may have an extra "i" in it in the title of the piece. I can't be certain, since I am also very tired!

Okie doke, here's another update. Very nearly there now I think other than just perhaps some tweaking after any feedback I might get, particularly about the blending between castle drawing and the other elements. I tried a subtle feather, but it didn't quite look right. I think this more direct approach looks alright, but not entirely sure, so any feedback would be good.
The castle is bigger again, there is more shadowing and a few more tweak here and there. I've also added much more to the ground plans though perhaps the second plan circular room could do with something more. Too tired right now to think about it anymore, so here it is and I'm off to bed.

I'm late on this, but I wanted to say how gorgeous and cool is this map! The castle, floor plans and shields are just excellent.
The only nitpick I can find is about the tents on the river banks, they seem to "float" a bit imho.
