That's a really lovely map, Mouse! Very well done, obviously a lot of work and love has gone into it!

This is so pleasant to look at. I really like it. Will there be more any time soon Mouse?

    Thanks tainotim

This was really only an experiment in drawing mountains - to see if I could. I don't really know if there will be any more.

I'll see how the mood takes me in the next few weeks

EDIT: It also depends on what kind of off the cuff comment ChickPea accidentally makes next time I'm trying to draw mountains, as to whether anything sparks me off again

    Thanks jshoer

Maybe if I do another one some day I will try to increase the elevation of the point of view by about 30 degrees or so up from where it is (about 15 degrees up from level), to make it more ISO perspective.

I don't know that I can add much to what's already been said. It's a beauty!

An odd question I know, but I just can't decide how to pronounce this. I have always pronounced it like Tee-A-mis, with the emphasis on the middle syllable. However it occurred to me that people from different countries might be pronouncing it very differently. Like Tie-A-mis, Tearmis (i.e. each syllable with equal emphasis), Tyamis, Tee-arm-is, Tyarmis, or could it be one of those place names that's spelt nothing like it's said? Like Featherstonehaugh (pronounced Fanshaw).
