As a couple of people have said, I really like your lines - the fact that they're not perfect adds a nice human touch to it. (And when I say they're not perfect, that isn't a criticism - they're great). This is epic, and I can't wait to see it finished!

I think both versions of the lines look good. The hand drawn has a certain charm about it, but the more technical lines have beauty in how clean, and precise they are, they make everything seem a bit more open, if that makes any sense. Anyhow, whatever you choose I'm sure will look good, you always create stunning work.

This is amazing! I think both versions look good, although I would have to agree that the hand drawn adds a touch of realism to the map. Can't wait till this is done!

Sorry to say I like the hand drawn lines better. I guess that means more work for you.
    Looking amazing so far.

    Thanks a lot everyone!

I'm doing better and kept the drawn version. It's a lot more work, but well, you convinced me.
So, today, I did the "general lines" for the buildings and camps. I'll try to do details and to work the colors tomorrow.

This is coming along really nicely! I love that muted colour palette.

There's some stunning structure work in this. Such a great feel to it.

Sweet! I know what you mean about the line work, you do all that work in Sketchup (which takes a while) and then have to redraw the same. KUDDOS to you for doing it, it will be a nicer piece because of it.

Although sketch up is a nice way to get the perspective and view, I may use it more for "blocking" work instead of drawing everything. Jury still out. I started the "Siege of Tye" for this months challenge in sketch up and just found it lost the "FUN" aspect so I quit.

Hand drawn lines are the personal touch that convert the unfeeling coldness of the machine line into something akin to pure magic.

This was pretty much perfect before, but is looking so much better for all your hard work

    Thanks again, guys .
The drawings is taking more time than I expected... I start fearing not finishing this one in time...
Anyway, I did some tests about the sea and the land (top left only). And hitted the wrong buttons which ended by flating 2 layers (concerning the sea)... so I hope it's not so bad.
