    J....can I hate you? Gotta say...those skills, man...those skills...

    Superb work!

Back then I used to play Ragnarok Online...in this game there was an all out war between guilds called "War of Emperium" where we had to invade and conquer other guild's castles and strongholds.

Your's reminded me so much of the corridors and plazas where I fought so many battles for years on...amazing map!
    Drawing skills? What drawing skills?!

Haha, thanks TK. I've been hated before but not for that reason.
I'm always happy to hear how a map or image i've done feels to someone or reminds them of something.

    Last interior level mostly done.
Now on to some water stuff and other details, plus text and other assorted labeling.

Water work mostly done. Need to label and tweak text.
Might try a few little touches here and there.
Definitely needs some custom lettering so I'll try to do that too.
Might have to find a way to tone down that water.
    It's kind of taking over.

Looks amazing J.Edward! Can't wait to see this finished

You know what I would like to see? Some poop, bird poop. And gulls, more gulls – perhaps some lichen as well! This is amazing as is, however, a little more natural details would add so much. Some seaweed on the rocks, the wreck of a ship with the mast peaking up over the waterline. You know, small stuff

    Keep up the good work!

    Cheers,
    Tainotim

Ps/ I think the water is fine as it is. Don't see it as taking over

Agree with Tainotim about the water. I don't think it's taking over either. I think it looks fantastic. Laughing so hard about bird poop, though. I live by the coast and I'd be happy if I never saw another seagull in my life!

Amazing work all round on this.

Thanks sir. Yeah, I've been a bit stretched lately. But it should settle down soon.

Thank you T. Well, there won't be poop. Sorry.
I did try adding in some green bits to the rocks and lower parts of the buildings but it just didn't look good and really clashed with the color scheme.
I try to add the small stuff, but it just doesn't seem to be the small stuff other people are expecting.

Thanks ChickPea. I did do some changes to the water anyway.

So, I added some clouds, made some changes to the top map a la Diamond, changed the layout a bit and started to begin with some text.
Still more to do. The kanji is just placeholder stuff right now - doesn't mean anything. I haven't decided on how I'm going to label this.
Still may change the title lettering. Not sure.
    Anyways, here's the current update.

Okay, the mini-map makes a lot more sense to me now.

    1. What about some rusty red lichen? Or gold? Maybe that would complement the color scheme and break up all the blue? (Although I actually do love the preponderance of blue...)

    2. Any plans for a border around the whole thing?
