My first thought would be, Map a ship. They are very good for filling in the empty ocean sections on region maps.
Will toss this into the mix.... Trees/forests.

I guess symbols (21 is black jack, so cards, so symbols)
Well a gamblers tool is a dice which has 21 dots on it. So for sure that what were talking about here. But exactly which bit of a dice ? The pips on the faces ? I was absolutely sure the runes guess was correct and I thought that they could be tiled as in versatile. But now we are talking dice. So I think the Wolfe must have it spot on (lol).
