I have been thinking about the colours - they don't need to be realistic (as in photo) as this is a map. Drawn by someone presumably in a time before aerial photography. So why am I fretting over realistic looking colours? Plus my plan was to build the map from the bedrock > grass > buildings > roads > trees. It's daft to put a layer of grass down when I'm just going to cover most of it.

Maybe the next job is to flatten down and import it into Inkscape for the buildings. That ought to be fun

I know it's been a bit of time since I did anything here. I've been working on different projects a bit more, as well as procrastinating a lot so I have done exactly nothing to my map. I'll get back on it soon enough though
