Not all of them... This one is just a test for a "thurian" .
But I'ved drifted again and now, I'm back on my elzévir martian atlas, with many doubts. For, one, should I remove the majority of the craters I previously left here and there (mainly on the coasts). I already removed the vast majority and thus, wonder if it's of interest to let those too...
This is just a quick test done taking the "old" version as a base. But I intend to redo it more properly with my new skills, and starting with the planisphere.. And The regional maps will be done in azimuthal equal-area.

That map of mars is sooo good! Love the relief and colours. It is kind of a map worth printing big for a wall poster.

Well, thanks Rafal ! But I do intend to redo the topography and the map(s) in general, starting from the world map this time, and getting the regional ones in an azimuthal equal-area projection.
This is where I am so far. Not sure what color palette I will chose. I think something more related to the topography would be better than that old version.

Well, I believe your redo will be even more awesome.
That being said, I really like your style in the old one.
I think i have siad it before, but regarding "real" looking maps yours and Vorro are the best imo.

Thanks again ! Well, I was wondering if I should not go away from the base material to go toward more fantasy ones (like a "lowellian" or "schiaparelli" mars), or a mix of the two. But, I spent a lot of time on this version and data that I'll keep it.
And I agree, Vorro's work is astounding!

Base topography almost done on Elysium region. Then, I'll add the usual shadings/shadows.
