I can definitely read those labels now, this is an improvement, but I'm with Snodsy in that you went a bit over board in the spacing, and in the size, tho who blames you, you must be so sick of everyone picking apart you're labels. If it were me I'd just want to be done with them...I hate labeling, it can be so hard to get everything to fit properly. And I like the globes, can't wait to see one under the map, cool idea.

I actually think simple orthographic projections work pretty well. IMO the only time you really HAVE to worry about true projections is when you want to render a world as a planet, especially if you animate it.
Yup, I suppose I would use Celestia (the software I have and know) if I wanted to have an animate render of it.

@Kacey : hey, no problemo. That's good critic and I know labelling is sometimes long.
I finish all the labels and corrected the continents labels. Seems better to me, at least.

And speaking of time... doing 116 flags is gonna be long (I've done 3), and it seems that I won't have the place to put them under the map (or it's gonna be really crowded), so... I was thinking of placing mini-maps for further informations, along with the globe?
What do you think? And what kind of informations you would like to see? I was thinking : religions, languages, political system, defense treaties or alliances, commercial/trade agreements? Some of those?

Missed to comment, although i followed the wip (i'm a bit lazy at commenting lately....). Great to see another world map in your signature style Ilanthar (speaking of signature, i also like your new signature/avatar a lot ). Looking forward to see how you apply the additional maps and information on it. Keep up the great work!

I can't imagine drawing 116 flags, with all that info you might need to make an entire atlas for this world!

Well... I kinda have the same problem than with the flags (tiny crowded maps that are hard to read)... I don't know what to do. I may end by putting the flags with more space under the main map.

@Kacey : I've done 21 and found a bit more motivation. And well, I may do an atlas, but for now, I will develop Lond and its surroundings.

I put the finished flags of Lond and Elits plus a mini-map for example. What do you think?

Outstanding job, This i probably my favourite relief map right now. I must rep you again, but i cant now :/

You have done amazing job with labels, i know this could be very tedious process. The globe is great (i would move it a little bit up, its too close to edge of image, but that is my subjective taste).

Lastly the flags... they looks so real, thinking about the design, and then making all the symbols, much amout of work you put here.

    Just love it.

I can't get the street view to work

I think this is an excellent world map. I'm really enjoying looking at it and would love to know more about the people who live there.

Wow, this is beautiful! I love those maps. Out of curiosity, why the mini-map if you have a big map right above it? Will it have additional information?

Yeah, I'll extend part under the map to solve that (I have to if I want to place all the flags, anyway).
Glad you think the flags looks good. It hard to find the good size to be able to make out the details without having gigantic flags that took all the place... I'm a bit sad we lose a lot of details on some flags at this final size, though.

Thanks for the good laugh and nice comment Straf ! I'm developing a lot of stuff for this world at the time.

Thanks Tiluchi! I intended to put mini-maps with additional informations. But after, tests, I will just put the flags as I first intended.

@Voolf : Francissimo is the specialist of interactive maps. I'm not as ambitious as competiting google, though .

So, about the half the flags are done. I will arrange them differently in the end.
