I just read through this whole thread, and it was awesome to see the map developing. I can't wait to see the final product!

@Lucifer : Thanks ! I'm gonna try to answer your different questions/comments.
First, I'm working at this size (it's not a smaller picture) : 5895x3720 pixels, at 72 dpi. Second, I used some existing pictures for reference, so those mythic beasts are a personnal mix (and drawing) of different influences (you can see all of them here)
Concerning the western cliffs, it doesn't look so weird in my eye, I was more concerned by my mesas in the center south part (and I don't have the courage to redo it). The south-eastern peninsula is indeed not much longer, but there are islands next... and... well, I have to put an end to this regional map (you can check my old world map here). There will probably be some frame over it, anyway.

@Snodsy : Thanks a lot ! Well, I'm glad to share, especially when I'm testing/trying new things.

@Warlin : Thanks ! Seems like I haven't ruined the thing yet. [Fingers crossed]

@Mapsburgh : Thanks ! I'm glad you like it... And I'm sorry to say that you'll have to wait more to see it finished.
