Thread: Homebrew DnD World

    Post Homebrew DnD World

    Subject

I have a homebrew DnD world that i've been creating for quite some time. I won't be using these maps commercially. The world consists currently of one large landmass but i would also like some smaller maps of regions done as well. I have rough drafts of these maps i did myself on inkarnate (spending an embarrassingly long amount of time) but i'd like something a bit nicer than these: Screen Shot 2018-01-25 at 6.51.05 AM.png Screen Shot 2018-01-25 at 6.50.58 AM.png Screen Shot 2018-01-25 at 6.51.13 AM.png

I feel like the coasts need to be less rounded/straight but the tool i used made that difficult. I'd also take input from those more familiar with geography on helping making the world more "realistic" (it is a fantasy world) but things like the river wouldnt run that way etc etc. Myself and my regular playgroup are quite tech oriented and would be happy to exchange services in return for work done. There is potential to pay for top shelf stuff but I'm a relatively young guy with not alot of spending cash.

    Style

[I am looking for a map in the following style - insert hyperlink of style of map required.] Any of these styles would be beyond awesome although i am partial to an "old world" feel.

    Quality & Size

I'd like the quality along the lines of what i've shown above. Size wise i'd like to go to kinkos and have a large wall sized map printed out for my gaming room as well as looking crisp on more traditional paper sizes.

    Time Constraints

I have no real time restraint as i can make due with what i have but i'd like to upgrade as i've said.

    Copyright

I will have the right to use the image for commercial purposes, the artist will have the right to exhibit the image as part of his portfolio but not to exploit it for commercial gain.

*** You're more than welcome to share/show off anything you'd make for my world but you wouldnt have rights to it commercially nor the world itself. If i ever chose to go commercial i would pay you accordingly to use the images or have new images done.**** (no plans to go commercial though)
