Default February 2019 Challenge: The Town of Hallof

    Greetings all!

My commission from Immolate is simply "Hall of Maps". At first I was stumped as to how I was going to proceed with this one, but after tossing ideas around, I decided to take it at face value.

Uromac Hallof's maps are arguably the oldest cartograms known to elf, dwarf, and man.

I meant to bring my write-up on the history of the town, but of course forgot on my way out the door this morning, so for now, a mostly blank page with a title will suffice.

    Cheers!

I do believe I got it working, I accidentally closed the browser and ended up copy/pasting it back into place, that was probably the issue.

Thanks, Ilanthar! Not my most clever idea ever, but it certainly serves my intended purpose.

    Hello guild mates!

Small update, got the main outline penciled in, and I just finished doodling the centerpiece of the town, Hallof's Cartography Acadamy! Much more to come, including a write-up of the history which I keep forgetting to grab before work.

This is certainly an interesting take on the commission! I would have attempted a completely different idea, so this is creative!!!

Much appreciated! I find it ironic that I went with the least creative among ideas and still wound up being creative.

    Thank you, Thomden!

Got a small section done, I forgot how long it takes to pencil in the details of a city, but it's rewarding, for sure.

Also, a short excerpt into the history of Hallof!

The colors look really nice. It looks like a very cute city design.
