Tough choice, but I went with Diamond in the end.
This months challenge was to create a board game - or at least a board for one.
Please vote for 1 map

For Whatever reason, Jude's latest WIP isn't showing up in the thumbnails for me. Is this just a problem with me, or is it that way for others? Just concerned for his sake is all.
Edit: Looking at it, it looks like his map is embedded in the post rather than as an attachment through the image manager. This might be the reason for the problem. True?

Same for me. I can't re post the image link in the original thread either it's locked. Not sure what happened there, no text error in my last WIP posting. Nothing I can to repair it from this end sorry.
I've just messaged Redrobes about the missing thumb - he can fix anything

Looks like you fixed it Tilt, great job!
Man, I wish I could vote more than once. This is such a tough decision.
all credit goes to Redrobes for fixing it - I only buzzed him and asked tech questions ... and yes, it seems like its the inline image instead of an attached one that makes the problem here on the new servers.
DevinNight : great looking map, fantastic finish and good use of colors and I love the extra input about how to play.
Diamond : cool looking alternate history map, love all the division, this has the making of a great board game.
Jude: Love the use of colors and nice fields - and being danish I of course love the concept of the game. Thought about making a viking game myself for the last 20 years *lol*
jtougas : to bad you didn't finish - the idea was a fun one
and my vote goes to DevinNight for the best overall map, both graphicly solid and also with a hint of the gameplay

great entries guys. Wish i could have been a part, but I just accepted a promotion at work so I haven't had the "free" time like I used to.
But my vote went to Jude, although it was a tough call. I make risk style board games for another site, and his map stands out as a map that could be played upon right now. I love the idea of the colored sea bubbles, that extend your territories out into the ocean, and connect other territories. And it's a gorgeous map - love the dark but vibrant feel to it.
The Pax Italy was a close second, as this could also be a really cool strategy board game. And Devins is awesome as well. Nice work guys.
I just wish I could've finished mine. There was gonna be little marble-looking playing pieces, miniature airships and cavalry and all kinds of assorted goodness. I just ran out of time...
I had to vote for Devin's; good concept, good execution.
Thanks for the speedy fix.
