Default Archipelago of Ashes - Commission

Lately I was commissioned to make this map for a group of RPG players. Again, this has been an interesting ride and I learned a lot. I hadn't done the illustrations in this way before and, though there's room for improvement I'm very satisfied with the result!

Dan, this is splendid ! I especially like the color of the forests and I really LOVE both the canopy and shadows of these forests. The map is beautiful but this green gems are really what makes it a wonder !

Nice colors! I especially like those spotlights on the cities and landmarks. =)

The color palette here is quite nice. Your illustrations are beautiful. and I really like your forests - alot !!! I would put just a tad more leading (space between lines) under L'Archipel and "des", a little tight. Not sure about both the grid and rhumb lines. The outlines of all the islands -- maybe a little transparency to the line and inner color, might make them seem like they are underwater to create some depth ??? Not sure, just a thought, really beautiful piece. This is so rep worthy, but I cann't give it to you yet until I spread some more love elsewhere

Great work on this Dan! I love the colour palette and those illustrations are great.

I really like the lighter choice of border too.

Edit* Damn, can't rep you right now, so I'll have to come back later.
