    Post My Second Map

    I tried to improve on my first map. My goals were: draw free-hand mountains and trees with my Wacom Bamboo .

    I also wanted to try Jeremy Elford's aging techniques which I think worked beautifully. Thanks Jeremy. Here is the tutorial:

    I would like to improve my color palette in the future and also move closer to the coast. I want to tackle some of the coastline regions in the Charleston area from the 1650-1800's.

    The link above to me represents a very unique art form and I want to try it. It is the most striking image I have seen in a long time. I will do my best to imitate it and give the originator full credit for the inspiration.

    beautiful mountains... I really like those, more of a painting than a map IMO... great job!
