That is a very nice map! I like all the little details and little art-pieces (like the bear etc). Well done! And yes, the border is pretty cool too
Do you by chance know how the fantasy series is called?
I am reposting this here because I mistakenly added it in the WIP forum. I could not find how to delete that post, so sorry, but if anyone can tell me how to do that I will see it is taken care of.
This was a really fun map to make, but also challenging as it was my first real sepia-toned map so it was a bit of a learning curve. And somehow I always end up spending more time on the borders than the map itself!
Made for a fantasy series from Razorbill/Penguin Random House.

Still I reach out for the Stars
Gorgeous work. I love the border, though I must admit the white colour of the columns and banner stands out just a little too sharply against the sepia tones for me. I think I would have preferred a hint of beige, or something similar, to blend a little better. The illustrations are fantastic and the whole thing is very pleasing.

I really enjoy the southern island, very astatically pleasing and that crosshatching is a nice touch. Those birds holding the banner as the main title is just awesome as well, great work!
Thanks! That southern island is where most of the story takes place, so it got more love than the rest, and in fact the author didn’t have much info on the other continents so I was given license to improvise there. But I didn’t want to get too carried away with that, of course, since it’s not my world.
