Map Avidiron - The Old Barrows

Here is a dungeon I recently completed for a campaign I'm running. Avidiron is a necropolis - a series of barrow mounds (commonly known in the current era as "the old barrows") created as the final resting place of the Mage Lords of yore. As the campaign is inspired by the OSR (Old School Renaissance), I decided to go with the old blue style for the dungeon. I just got an Intuos 5 a while back and the surface level is my first map-dabble with it. Hope you enjoy.

    Cheers,

Very nice. Reminds me of the old Caves of Chaos adventure!

    I really like this

    The Old Oak looks marvelous.
The best maps are the ones we like the most after looking at the longest.

Looks really nice, love the surface map. Also a great idea for an adventure place.
Are you doing the maps in Photoshop or are you using something else?

I'm not a fan of "dungeon" maps, but I like it, especially your map of the surface

And I have to confess that it reminds me of good old rpg encouters!

Thanks everyone, it was fun to make these. Now I just have to key the dungeon! Clericon, the two interior maps were done completely in GIMP but I used Photoshop Elements to create the surface level (for some reason not all of the tablet functions work properly in GIMP 2.8 - hopefully they get this resolved in the next update).

It really reminds me of the old school dungeon maps. Well done!

I like this old blue style much better then most of the modern dungeon maps.
