Age of Gold Map

Hi!
Sorry for not being around lately
I'm working on many different projects and I look forward to have the permission to share some of them with you in future.

The writer that commissioned me this map has given me a lot of freedom on the creative part, especially regarding the shape of the lands. She didn't want me to add cities, roads,ecc...just the kingdoms separated by a border.
The only other thing that she asked me to do was to represent on the map's border the war between dragons and men. I have chosen burnt colours for the map because I wanted "to smell the smoke" when looking at it

The burnt colors for the decorative border is a great idea since it also creates some contrast with the map. It's a pleasure to look at it and it's not distracting from the map itself too much.
