    Wip Anteluvia (B&W World Map)

Ah, it's been far too long that I've posted something in this subforum!

Got a recent commission about a world with a bit of a shifted axis insofar that the northern pole is, well, an arctic polar region like hours, but the southern one is a huge primordial jungle (so it gets gradually warmer and wetter the more to the south you go.

    Here's the first WIP.

The world is, in general, on large landmass, with one 'solid' polar landmass in the north, and the south sort of feathering out into a tropical archipelago.

I really like the direction this is going! Will make for a cool map.

One thing to note, I feel the weight of the map is lacking on the middle left to top left. Maybe it's just an illusion. But anyway, it's for you to consider.

Thanks! Originally the setup was meant to be more symmetrical (one set of islands top right, one bottom left, contine t straight from north to south), then I suggested a diagonal shift, then the client suggested the southern 'pole' to be broken into a larger number of islands. I'm planning to give the north a bit more Ooompf by going wild with glaciers, mountains and ice formations.
